What is a poken?

A Poken is a keychain gadget that stores contact information from your social network profiles like Facebook, LinkedIn and Hyves. Whenever you meet someone you can become friends and exchange all the contact information you’d like.

How do I start using it?

- Remove the hand from your Poken
- Remove the plastic tab
- Wait for a red light to indicate succesful activation
- Plug the USB connector in the USB port of your computer
- Open Windows Explorer and click start_poken.html
- This will take you to DoYouPoken.com where you can register

Why should I register?

The Poken can be used immediately, however until you register you are marked “unregistered” and your profile information remains hidden to all you have connected with. Registering can be done at DoYouPoken.com.

Is my privacy guaranteed?

There is no personal information stored on your poken and your Poken profile is protected with a password. You can select “auto-login” to remember your password. This is at your own risk.

How many contacts can I store on my Poken?

Up to 64 contacts can be stored. You can free storage everytime you upload new contact to your Poken Account. If you have a few contacts left available, you will see a orange light glowing during the connection. If you reach your maximum of 64 contacts every attempt to connect will result in a red light. This means that the new contact profile is added, but the first contact profile stored on the Poken was erased.

How can I switch from one profile to another?

You can upload up to 6 of your own profiles onto your Poken and switch from profile to profile by simply clicking the button on the Poken’s palm.

What do the red, green and orange lights mean?

A green light means a succesful connection.
A red light indicates the connection failed in which case we suggest you to try again.
An orange light means you are approaching your maximum of 64 stored contacts in which case you are advised to connect to a computer to upload your contacts.
If you reach your maximum of 64 contacts every attempt to connect will result in a red light. This means you will connect succesfully but the first profile you connected with will be erased.

How is it powered?

It is powered by a Lithium CR1632 battery and you can replace it yourself. The battery should last about half a year.

What if I lose my Poken?

Your personal profiles as well as the profiles of all the people you connected with are protected with a password. As soon as you have marked your Poken ‘lost’ on Doyoupoken.com, no one can access it.

We deliver throughout the US and worldwide, please select the appropriate shipping zone in our webshop.

How soon does my Poken ship?

You Poken is shipped the same day and will arrive through USPS mail within 3-5 days depending on your location.

Do you offer coupons or promotion codes?

What happens if you are out of stock?

We are almost never out of stock.
However in case this does happen we will communicate an expected delivery date and offer you to change your choice of Poken.
